sio-karnataka zone: Hurry Up! last date to apply-12 May 2015. The Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Ltd. (KMDC) will pay the fee of students belonging to minority communities and seeking admission to professional courses through the common entrance test (CET) conducted by the State government. The KMDC has already begun enrollment of students seeking this benefit. KMDC will pay the fee on behalf of students at the time of admission. The KMDC will bear the fee for the entire course. Chairman of KMDC has said that due to lack of awareness in this regard, only few eligible students had enrolled themselves under this scheme, even though huge funds had been released for the same. Due to which only 25-30% of total funds sanctioned can be utilized, as less number of students has applied for this. Note: 1- The beneficiaries, after completing the course, will have to pay service charges of only 2 per cent of the total fee paid. 2- All students of minority communities from families having an annual income of less than Rs. 4.5 lakhs can avail themselves of the benefit of the scheme. 3- Documents to be submitted: a- Photograph of candidate. b- Income & Caste Certificate upto 4.5 lakhs per annum. c- Ration Card/ Aadhar Card or Telephone Bill/ Water bill/ KEB bill for Proof of Address. d- CET Admission order / College admission order / CAC order. e- SSLC Marks card for proof of Date of Birth. f- Study Certificates.
